Progressive Rock Icon Neal Morse in Concert in Quebec City
The famous singer and multi-instrumentalist Neal Morse will be in concert at Le Cabaret du Capitole! For the American artist, this will be the first time in Quebec City.
Neal Morse is currently promoting his new album Momentum which has been released last September. This album has been produced along with his loyal studio pals Randy George (bass) and Mike Portnoy (drums).
In addition to his six solo albums, Neal Morse is also a prominent figure in two other groups. In 2000, he has founded the progressive rock super group Transatlantic along with Pete Trewavas (Marillion), Roine Stolt (The Flower Kings) and Mike Portnoy (formerly with Dream Theater). Neal Morse is also part of the group Flying Colors whose debut album has been released in 2012.
In 1992, Neal Morse has founded Spock’s Beard with his brother Alan. This group has quickly become one of the most respected formations in the modern progressive rock movement with its debut album The Light. He left this group in 2002 to pursue his solo career.
Neal Morse’s music is known as eclectic, energetic and rich in vocal harmonies. In concert, he always surrounds himself with virtuoso musicians.
For his Quebec City concert, Neal Morse will be supported by Randy George (bass), Eric Gillette (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Bill Hubauer (keyboards, violin, saxophone, vocals), Adson Sodré (guitar and vocals) and by former member of Dream Theater Mike Portnoy (drums).
