Country singer Robby Johnson, who burned the boards four nights in a row last June, will return to Le Capitole for an evening where he promises once again to charm the people of Quebec City.
Originally from St-Georges-de-Beauce and living in Nashville since 2012, Robby Johnson released his first album Don’t Look Back in January 2016 and received great reviews. South of Me, the first song from this album, helped make him known and allowed him to be invited to television shows including a strong presence at the Late Show with David Letterman. As for the second song, Hate Me Tonight, it rose to the Top 30 of the American country charts as of its exit last May. Robby launched on October 6 a third song entitled Together and that the video accompanying the song has already accumulated nearly 1.5 million views.
On stage, he takes a great pleasure to share several anecdotes of his new life in Nashville. In addition to performing his own songs, he revisits the repertoire of artists who influenced him such as Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley.
